At present a lady senior citizen aged around 64 yrs asks local police for life protection from her daughter-in-law and sons. Her husband suffered with paralysis stroke n unable to do any work. she is selling some iddlies (break fast) etc and earning their lively hood for both wife and husband.

their two sons are on ship job and stay for six months locally and six months on ship. Eldest son shifted his family n staying away from these seniors. But second daughter-in-law and their two kids staying in the ground floor. Second son is away on ship. The daughter-in-law abusing them and threatening if they fail to transfer the property in their name.

She is asking the police department to give them life n property protection and asking the police department to make their second son or daughter-in-law to vacate the house, so that she can let it out and get some money for their medicines and daily maintenance.

(1) Hope Police department can make arrangements to protect her life.

(ii) but second point, can they ask the second son’s family to vacate the house? (since Parents Maintenance Act Rules are not yet published in AP Govt Gazette).

Please advice how best police department can help the senior citizens?
