Dear friends,

I have cousin sisters and one of them (her name is Komal) is engaged in love affair with a boy. Our family is against the relation because the boy is road-side romeo. He is also from different religion. (Though we do not have any problem regarding religion or community) but his character is not good. He is not educated and is not serious for the career. He is just passing time with my sister.

Now, legally we can not do much because both Komal and the boy are mature and above 18 years.

Many times, we tried to convince our girl to leave company of that boy but she is not understanding.

Sometimes she became angry and said that she will put something in water and will harm us. She says that she will make complain against us that we are torching her (while we are not even touching her.)

Once the boy also told us that he will break our legs or harm us by other means. Yesterday he sent a threatening SMS on the elder sister. The SMS was this:

If your father or any family member will come to my home, He will come but not go back. I will come to your colony and make ‘Dhamaal’ (nuisance).

Now, my cousin sisters and their old parents are in fear. They do not have any real brother. All are girls.

Please tell me:

1. Is this SMS a strong proof to make his complain in police ? Should we do so now or we should collect some stronger proofs ?

2. Should we try to get some videos of such events (when he is threatening us or our own girl is saying such rubbish) ? Can we put them as evidence to police or court if required ? Will it be legal ?

2. Is spy (hidden) video shoot legal in sake of getting proof ?

3. Can we do spy video shoot anywhere or it can be done only in one’s own premise ?
