Hi,

I’m based at south part of india (Salem). My grandfather’s property had been sold by my father (illegally) which has complete rights to my brother. we got to know that he sold without my brother’s knowledge and sold lands in to plots.

We are trying to retrieve the land back so we approached registration office to get the EC. But due to section 47 1 they cant give information to us.

We are not sure about this section, they told person who got registered paid less amount so until we pay complete amount they cant retrieve the information. Need advise on how to proceed with this situation.
