Is LL.B. a post-graduate degree?

The reason I am asking is because some people are of the opinion that any degree that is only obtainable post graduation is a post graduate degree. Thus LL.B., B.Ed. etc are post-graduate degrees as the minimum qualification to pursue these courses is an under-graduate degree. So a person who pursues History honours from Delhi University and then a 3 year LL.B course is a post graduate.
Others are of the opinion that a bachelor’s degree is synonymous with an undergraduate degree. Thus the post-graduate degree is always the masters degree and for law it is LLM.
Can anyone clarify this please? Will be great if someone can let me know if UGC/BCI treat LL.B. as an undergraduate or post-graduate degree?

Yus. You can only pursue LL.B. after you have a graduate degree.

Actually, this was not what I had asked. Or do you mean that because we can only pursue LL.B. after a graduation degree, that very requirement makes it a post-graduate degree?

LL.B is not a post graduate degree, it is more then post graduate degree because it is Professional Degree.I would like to clear that after doing LL.B, enrolled with Bar council & Pass all India Bar Exam to will become Advocate & can practice in Courts.
But you want to know it is postgraduate degree or not!
Answer:- It is not a post graduate degree, it is Professional Degree ( Graduate Degree).
If you do not have interest in LL.B & want to pursue only any post graduation then do any post graduate course according to your wish as MA,MBA, MCA etc. from regular or correspondence example DU or IGNOU etc

I am doing 5 year llb from magadh university , i have completed 3 year, now i am in fourth year, but actually now i am also interested to do Master Degree in Arts,what can i do ? becoz i have a chance to get a job in school as school teacher..can i opt… ?

Hello, LLB is a graduate degree, however you are only illegible when you have a graduation degree already.
Master’s degree in LAW is : LLM.
