stay on publishing AIBE result scheduled to be held on 8th january,2012

High Court at Calcutta vied an order dated 23.12.2011, directed the Bar Council of India not to Publish the result of ALL INDIA BAR EXAMINATION, scheduled to be held on 8th January,2012, pending the disposal of the writ petition challenging the vires the said rule being ultra vires of the ADVOCATES ACT 1961.However, all the newly enrolled advocates, who will appear in the said examination, shall have the right of practice until further orders, without any prejudice.

Dear Sir thank you for yr info,is there any mandatory, to give in written to the concerned state bar councils towards the right to practice until the results to be announced.

Please advise.

As far as the resolution of BCI concerned..it is mandatory condition for the time being and further, I would advice you to give a written undertaking with concerned SBI before practice. Because, this resolution is also under challenge.

we all have to wait till the disposal of SLP which is pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court..until the matter is heard out by the SC we will not mention the writ petition for its final hearing.
