Context: The National Law Institute University, Bhopal along with the International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) is organizing The NLIU-INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament 2012. The Mediation Tournament is the first of its kind to be held in India with Universities being invited from all over the world. The Tournament also seeks to expand interest in Arbitration and Mediation by giving the students an opportunity to interact with leading academics, policy makers and industry players both from India and abroad. The total prize money for the Tournament is also set at Rs. 1,10,000 (approx. $2200), with a possibility of further increase.

Date: February 16th – 19th, 2012

Deadline for Registration: 1st of January, 2012 (likely to be extended)

Registration Process:

It is a 2 stage process which includes filling out the registration form, and on confirmation of registration, as part of stage 2, teams will have to pay the registration fee of Rs.3000 (for Indian teams) and $100 for international teams.
