The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) along with InterNational Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) is pleased to announce the launch of the NLIU-INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament 2012.

We are writing this to extend our warm invitation to your esteemed University to participate in the this first of a kind Mediation Tournament being organised in NLIU Bhopal, India from 16th to 19th February, 2012.

The National Law Institute University, Bhopal is a leading University in imparting legal education in the Country and has earned a name for itself in imparting quality legal education, conducting research in cutting edge areas of law and organizing workshops, seminars and training programs. In a very brief period, the University has made a name for itself and is now on the path to promote mediation with the InterNational Academy of Dispute Resolution.

The INADR was founded to further the awareness of mediation as means of establishing peaceful resolution. Its mission is to encourage society to resolve differences and disputes in a more sensitive and compassionate manner.

The Mediation Tournament is the first of its kind to be held in India with Universities being invited from all over the world. The Tournament also seeks to expand interest in Arbitration and Mediation by giving the students an opportunity to interact with leading academics, policy makers and industry players both from India and abroad.The total prize money for the Tournament is also set at Rs. 1,10,000 (approx. $2200) and chances of it increasing are really high.

By ensuring the highest possible quality at every stage of organisation, it is our endeavour to establish the NLIU-INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament as one of Asia’s leading Mediation Competition.
