What after LLB??

viveksinwer 13 Dec 2011, 14:36

Hello fellow members,

Greetings !!

I am a law student in NCR. I will be completing my LLB in 2012. I would like your precious guidance, as in what should i do after my LLB.

What I have in mind: -

I. Practice under a Sr. advocate for a year, before doing LLM.

II. PGDIPR from NLSIU or IGNOU.

III. do LLM straightaway.

Also, please suggest which field should I specialize in, given the fact that I do not have any lawyer in my family..

Thanking you in anticipation..

hello…

my name is vivek gupta doin llm from NLIU, bhopal.

see according to me if u have to settle ur career only in advocacy then must not go for llm from nationals… if u wanna work as an advocate then dont waste time n join some lawyer..

if u wanna go in academics then my suggestion is must go for CLAT-2012 n join any national law colg.

if u dont wanna go to corporate sec or dont wish to get placement from institution (as thr is no scene of placement for llm students in nationals) then must go for ML from NLSIU tht wud b beneficial…
