Re: Need advice - Trouble having tenant vacate rented premises

AnonymousLLB 13 Dec 2011, 13:52

you might wanted to mention where you are located.. as Rent control act is different for various states, Eg: Delhi, karnataka, tamilnadu etc

as per general Rent control act, you have every right to ask the tenet to vacat the house with reasonable notice ,irrespective weather you have the written agreement or not.

you have several options..

1. Speak to your elder and ask them to vacate the house and they don’t ( Sort out of court )

2. give a complaint in local police station on 2 things.. under Private nusience, and also on not vacating…

if police takes it , they can simple ask them to vacat and the issure resloves..

if not..

again it might go to court and the court will issue a decree to the tenents to vacate the primise immediatily under rent control act and also under TRESPASS under TORT..

no need to worry MSH.. the Justice on your side.. its a common situation on the ground.
