My grandfather is expired as of now and he as a 3childrens - 2sons & 1 daughter. In this case my father is the eldest one i wanted to know whether the property can be shared shared among us, in which the property is not an ancestral property, its my grandfather own property.. also now my grandmother alive she is letting the property for a rental basis so do we have any rights to get the share from the rent which she gets.

Please do the needful and clear my query asap.

In the absence of a will, your grandmother and her three children become entitled to your grandfather’s self acquired property in equal proportion. Your dad can claim 1/4th share in the rent.
