Re: Tenant came out on bail and wants to vacate the premises
1- Police can’t call you on you phone without your concert and seeking a specific performance with out any contract with the daughter-in-law.(paying amount) (for some one order execuation with just oral statment.)( its againt consitituion and your equity rights)
2- in simple , there is no acceptence nor the commuincation , nor any thing written in rent contract that you would pay money to them.
3- Court can’t take you as an party and issue a decree, without your knowledge.. first check the order / decree. it can’t be on your name.
4- The tenents are on bail, meaning they are still not convicted, you can pay the deposit to them and close the contract ASAP as Sbahadur also suggested. ( even tenents can get the rights under Article 20 of indian constitituion)
last but not the least, you can even challenge the police authority / police act as an voilation of your fundamental right and causing your distres…as police is not the enforcing authroting under this specific case..
