Blog technical difficulties - please bear with us

Some bloggers are having technical issues posting up blog - when they click save it apparently just stalls and never saves the article.
Apologies for this technical issue which we are investigating.
Please reply to this thread if you are experiencing the same issue. As it could be a browser compatibility issue, please let us know what web browser you are using.
It only happens sometimes and in rare circumstances. As a temporary measure, make a copy of your blog post before you click save.
If it stalls for longer than 20 seconds, cancel and try again. Some bloggers have had success on the second attempt doing this.
We are doing all we can to sort this out as soon as possible. Again, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I put some amount of effort, thought and time into my posts. And when I see things botched up by the blogging software, it frustrates me.
Just to give you an example: my latest post on ‘the strongest law school’ is placed 4th in the ‘your blogs’ column, while it, being the latest post, should be placed first. Moreover it is not placed even on FB.
In the end, this might not make a much difference in how many people read it or like/not like it. But I hope you will understand that this can get really frustrating.
Kian, please tell me know when the software gets improved. I might resume blogging then. Till then, I am on a hartal. :)
ps- please do correct the above anomaly.

It seems fine to me - your blog is listed in first position and does appear on FB. Not sure what you mean.
FB sometimes takes half an hour or so for the blog to appear. The order of blogs I don’t know and can not replicate. Please do explain further.

Explanation (in brief): I delted the post and reposted it.
Details: I had saved a draft on 25th (using the unpublish option).
I published it today.
It was listed at 4th.
Coz your bad software took the 25th date, as the date of publication.
It was also not on FB.
I delted the post.
I reposted it.
Now it is on 1st position and also on FB.

That is not really a bug in the software as such, but just the way it works.
If you are first saving a draft weeks ago, the software will take that as its date and backdate the post when it goes live.
But it is possible I believe to change the published date just before going live with a draft, which should put it in the right place in the list and in the right place in FB.
Without deleting a post that is backdated, however, I would think that you can also change the date after it is live and the order in the latest blogs would change.
The latest blogs list and FB update can take half-an-hour or so to propagate.
In FB I don’t think you can change the order after it is up - but you could either repost a link yourself or ask me to and I would put it up there.

hi. i have been trying to post a blog for the past few minutes. after i click the save button, it shows saving your entry and it just stays like that. i have tried at least 4 times by now. please help me. what am i supposed to do?
I can easily post stuff without any problem. I am guessing the problem increases when the internet connection speed it low or not stable. I had the same problem some time ago.
One of my post did not appear on fb.
I guess the fb thing doesn’t matter as long as the website shows it.
My query is about the chat software, it keeps getting hung up. I am chatting with someone and suddenly the window freezes. I have to reload the page and it takes a lot of time. By this time, the person I am chatting to is not online anymore.
Can we have the chat room style thing?
You can chat with everyone as well as chat with individuals in yahoo/rediff style windows. A suggestion.
