HNLU vs GNLU

akshay412 11 Jul 2011, 15:11

I got admission into HNLU, Raipur through CLAT 2011 and i’m living in its hostel for the last two days…GNLU had vacancies and i applied there recently…most likely i’ll get it..but i have been hearing all sorts of things about GNLU since i got here..according to the people here the gandhinagar law school practices regional bias..and there’s nothing better in it as compared to HNLU except good infrastructure…

can anybody tell me if they have good faculty members?

please advise what should be my next step if they shortlist me for the vacant seat? I’m really confused :/

Offcourse GNLU is far far ahead of HNLU in all respect. You can verify from legallyindia last year GNLU was best in terms of placement. This year also AMSS has recruited 8 people (4 PPO + 4 Campus), ICICI has also taken 4. This happened in just 2 days of placement season. In AMSS alone around 35 GNUites are working so you can assume the kind of alumni support. In terms of infrastructure I can bet GNLU upcoming campus (most probably to sift from January) is number 1. You can see the photographs of up-campus on GNLU website.

Now coming to faculty, you verify yourself from the list of faculty and their qualifications and credentials published on the websites of each NLS. I personally feel GNLU faculty is better than even NLSIU Bangalore. Verify yourself. I can say all these because I am a pass out student.
