come 2 patna. it iz a good law skul.
YOU HAVE GIVEN BETTER ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION- THAT NLU IS NLU…& A NLU IS 1000 TIMES BETTER THAN THE PRIVATE COLLEGE…IN CNLU U’LL GET QUALITY LEGAL EDUCATION…AS IT WAS THE FIRST BATCH WHICH WAS PASSED..SO IT HAD CERTAIN PROBLEMS REGARDING PLACEMENTS BUT STILL IT MANAGED TO SECURE 48 PLACEMENTS OUT OF 60 AND REST STUDENTS ARE GOING ABROAD FOR LLM AND JOINING BAR. SO BE POSTIVE AND FINALLY IT UR LIFE…SO ITZ BETTER U DECIDE UR OWN FUTURE..HAV A HAPPY LYF :)
Join Amity if in Delhi.
I study in an NLU and believe me,
When I come back to Mumbai it is a pain beating these GLC guys at getting internships.
Patna in your CV just doesn’t look good+ the college still hasn’t settled down well enough yet.
Delhi looks better on the CV.
But if it’s Amity Lucknow or something then things equal out with CNLU being an NLU and all.
Make an informed choice.
Whats your CLAT Rank?
CNLU’s first placement wasn’t good. And their was that whole hunger strike debacle. While in Amity you have guaranteed placements because of the location. If its the delhi campus then go for it.
If you have the choice then drop for one year and try again. :)
Nopes…my CLAT AGE LIMIT is over now… :( hence i am joining amity private one..it would be anyday better than the patheto CNLU and its environment…no prices for guessing that why 95% of the students selected in CNLU donot opt for it ;) And regular INTERNS n a gud CV can ensure placements from any univeristy…then y to visit BIHAR for that? :woohoo: :P
Who said Amity is better than CNLU and i am shocked to hear that Amity ,Noida has 100% placement…all this news is shit. I am a second year student of Amity and left it 3 days ago to join National Law School… boy be wise Amity has not even got a single student placed of its latest batch that passed out and also about crowd…ask anyone in Amity ,noida that why they have taken Admission here …99% of the answers you get is “Aur kahi nai hua, that’s why Amity” And do not judge an instution by its location if you want to be a lawyer ,think like a lawyer…you would make the biggest mistake by going there!
@xyzeeee All i would like to say to you is CONGRATULATIONS FOR GETTING THROUGH A NATIOANL LAW SCHOOL…i know that very pleasure dilutes the images of all kinds of private law schools in our country…hence y should AMITY be left behind..
and thanxx for posting such a comment in my TOPIC POST :P :) my love towards AMITY has further increased…come wat may…but good colleges always have bad hooters who are into BOO-ing things around about their ex-college…nothing ur fault actually
was trying to help you about real facts but you are the one to decide…so do it wisely go to amity have a look at its placement records ask the students there and then only take any descision …dont be in a hurry! you might regret it later …and personally i did regret my descision after 6 months …Infrastructure, state of art food court and mess might lure youbut the main fact that you should consider is the faculty, the placment record, whether the hefty fees is justified? take a descision wisely as its about your career none else !
And CNLU is not at all a bad option to consider their first batch at least had 76% placement the higest package by Clifford Chance…do the required research brother!
m sorry xyzeee if i was a bit harsh…but i dont have any option except AMITY..ofcourse i do have CNLU but its not really the place to be :( there is a huge location dis-advantage…and one cant really on CNLU just by looking at 1st batch student…ofcourse 1 can..but…well…are u on FACEBOOK? i need to chat wid u further on this…i m by the name of ABHINAV KUMAR…can u tel me ur name n location so that it would be easier for me to search u there :(
do not leave a NLU for Amity Noida or Amity Delhi.NLU IS NLU.
Hi Abhinav, may be I am too late in posting a reply but better late than never..I ofcourse understand your dilemma but if you look deeply there is no dilemma at all..it’s about a well informed choice which points to CNLU..PLease do not under estimate CNLU and Patna which can offer you a career unlike money minting spinners like Amity..You can look it this way that students were so career oriented that they undertook hunger strike to get themselves heard and got thru with almost 70% placement which is quite good in comparison to Amitys as apart from a few nobody gets placement and neither are they bothered to do someting to draw the attention on this issue..so the choice is urs..but my words are in favour of you joining CNLU.
Have a great career ahead!!!
An Insider
i can give you one suggestion that do your best in 1st year and try for migration to Amity delhi in 2nd year.
Nah. Contrary to popular belief, there isnt a significant difference between the two institutions anymore. ALS, Noida has bought over most of the distinguished faculty of ALS, Delhi.
A major populous of students at both the institutions is sad.
However, it is not the law school, in my opinion, that matters. “Its not about the gun, but the man behind it”
I dont think that the CLAT is a good-enough litmus test to successfully separate the chalk from cheese.
At the end of the day what really matters is personal competence. Or maybe I just tell myself that to eradicate the burden of being in a third tier law school.
Cant say.
amity placement is like govt. project. 100% placement on paper but actual placement is 20-30% only. and that 20-30% are just placement.
The name of the state does not actually matters! albeit there is a difference between bihar and patna.. but still according to me cnlu is far better than any private college!
I think it must b CNLU bcoz as NLU is NLU and u can find many people sum serious aspirants nd sum only there to waste their parents’ money in Amity bt if u want to b in NLU u hav to work hard and thus u wil find d folks of an NLU more hardworking n decent … as far as CNLU is concerned ,it has its own campus which is surrounded by other big institutions lik NIFT n CIMP nd not more familiar with d main city of patna (if u r affraid of d name BIHAR)… 1 more thing frm my experience there is nthing to b scared of in state or in the city … d people r yep a little uncivilised bt simple nd heplful more than d delhites nd it is far better than the LALU’S Bihar …so it will also luk gud on ur CV as its an NLU and land of many great lawyers …
guys nlu is nlu and if u really think that bihar is not a good place for law then let me remind u of chanakya and dr rajendra prasad plz dont judge any place before visiting there and coming to the point cnlu is far better than that amity and if u r comparing these two institutions then bro sorry u should leave this field as u cant even compare things logically then how will u raise ur voice in court room…
Always, go for a college which is specified, expertise and standing as one college under the University rather than several colleges under one university.
