I was wondering does it make much of a difference to a fresh law-graduate recruiting firm, whether you have passed out from one of the tier-1 top 10 Institutions (say Amity) or from a lesser known tier 2 institute (say Vivekananda Inst of Professional studies), provided the academic performance of the student is comparable?

What are the basis of selection.
