Your doubt is a common doubt which everyone including me had, the previous year. JGLS if taken care of properly with strict admission guidelines on place can anyday, anytime push through SLS and ILS. It has a world class faculty which none of the NLU’s except for NUJS has to some extent. Now comparing with the 13 NLU’s we have currently excluding the nascent ones I would say that it needs time to be comparable. Though it won the NLS Arbitration moot which is quite a prestigious moot in the National circuit still it wont suffice it to be compared with the NLU’s. I would say that according to the present situation if I am to give a ranking to the Law schools combining both Nationals and Private it would be something like this:
NLSIU
NUJS
NALSAR
NLUJ
NLUD
HNLU/GNLU
NLIU
SLS
RGNUL
NLUO
RMLNLU
NUALS
CNLU
JGLS is difficult to rank as it has not shown much of flare inspite of the added advantages they have like Foreign Professors teaching and all. But none the less with time if proper implementation is done it would become a good law school.
Hello, thanks for your reply, but is Jodhpur really better than Delhi??, also is SLS better than NLUO, plus is jindal worth the money you spend in it!
thanks in advance
Jodhpur as of now is obviously in a better position than Delhi. Why am I saying this? It was established in 2002 and has got 4 batches into the market. Whereas NLUD has none. So that gives a law school a prima facie advantage. Moreover NLUD has Ranbir Singh but he’s scheduled to leave after the first batch passes out and it is an insiders news. So future uncertainty exists as well. However coming to the point regarding JGLS, I dont think that it is worth spending 30 Lacs in India for education as it is very difficult to redeem it. Even NLU’s cannot guarantee you let alone JGLS.
SLS is better than NLUO as of now. But NLUO will take over soon :). Actually both are similar kind of college as those who cannot make it through CLAT top 500 or NLUD usually goes there so the quality is’nt great in either of the places as i can surmise.
Hi! I’m from Jindal. I’m not here to promote it or anything, however I thought I could provide you some inside perspective.
Jindal will go into it’s third year right now and hence is absolutely new. Therefore, it has been difficult to rank it considering we don’t have even one batch of students who have graduated. Having said that, I can guarantee that the faculty is as brilliant as they sound. In fact they are more than that, they are inspirational and some of your classes will practically change your worldview.
In these couple of years we have achieved a lot, although not as much as we wanted to, but it is important to consider that we have had our institutional hiccups (especially in the first year). We are not a Uni like Delhi which has an experienced VC at its head. Our VC is dynamic and probably the best amongst all law colleges, however needless to say, in the first year, we were all trying to get a semblance of college (faculty, VC and students) in the place, which lost us a lot of time.
Having said that, I can say for sure that Jindal is better than Symbi (having gotten into Symbi, GNLU etc. myself) and give us two (max three) years we will be at par with the likes of Jodhpur/Bhopal.
Placements should not be a problem at all considering that you can see that some of us have secured internships with White &Case (Abu Dhabi and Singapore) amongst other institutions (UNHCR, ICRC, AALCO, NHRC, AZB, AMSS, Khaitan etc. ). We have a vibrant Placement Cell already in place.
An edge that Jindal will give you is if you venture into research and academia because you will have a lot of faculty for advice, guidance and inspiration.
About the fees, I know it’s a toughie. And as mentioned before, not all students here are rich kids who did not get in anywhere else ( people have left Symbi, ILS, GLC, and some of the lower rung nationals, actually as high as NUJS to be here.). However, given the scholarships provided to us, it makes it easier to take the decision. I know I took the decision after I got my scholarship. In fact, they keep offering you merit scholarships and studentships on merit basis, so you always have the pressure of studying hard.
I think the last thing that is worth mentioning is the liberal, relaxed environment that we live in. Sure, living in far off Haryana is a problem, but we manage, and so would you if you do come.
Best of luck with your decision. Do what best suits you! :)
Thank You for the Caveat that u are not advertising but anyway I seriously doubt when u say JGLS is better than Symbi…infact when U say ppl have left GNLU [and u claim u left it, and if u did it for JGLS, i seriously doubt you had a better opinion] and NUJS is is hard to believe it.
Anyway for a fact both NUJS and GNLU are doing exceptionally well , have got brilliant VCs and yes they dont pay channels and get time slots to advertise themselves (Bcoz they dont need to).
It is quite simple: Any good institute be it IIM or IIT dose not need to do what IIPM does. Many (and I mean MANY) have opined that JGLS is just another IIPM in the LAw Block.
I am sorry if it sounds bad, but in spree of portraying your institute good, at least don’t do something that puts question mark on THE REPUTED LAW SCHOOLS.
That does not make them bad, but makes u look hungry for fame.
Regards,
Okay so you say that jindal is another iipm in the law block, when you say that you do realize that you mean to say that jindal is a “hoax” and that it isnt even certified by the i guess bar council of india o.o, one more thing “I seriously doubt when u say JGLS is better than Symbi”, what is your reason for not believing that, the faculty and the campus seem to be better and so does the library, so all i ask is:
-if i go to jindal will my money be wasted
-will i be able to participate in THE REPUTED LAW SCHOOL events
-will i get a chance of getting into one of the best firms in corporate
-will i get a package higher than 10 lakh if im good in there
*i know the last two are the same thing but i would want them answered separately…
I do not say that it is not certified by BCI . Almost law ALL colleges get it, it is no big deal.
As far as Jindal and Symbi are concerned and u are taking campus, infrastructure and library (just the physical size I mean) into account then frankly speaking think twice. As far as faculty is concerned, just the profiles on the net doesn’t make them good, you have to be taught by them to know how they are. NLSIU too does not have a fancy campus, nor does NUJS but that does not make them inferior to JGLS. Even GNLU which shall be moving into its brand new campus (Far better than JGLS, look into the website and check the “upcoming Campus link”) hitherto has a decent campus. But people from all these colleges have done amazingly well. Now, I answer to your questions:
1. The amount of fee JGLS is charging is exorbitant, I guess 5 Lakhs per annum which makes that more than twice than any National Law School. So, yes I believe it IS a waste. If you want to spend so much u can better go to Singapore and study at NUS (National University of Singapore) which is one of the best Universities of Asia. Also, fee at colleges like ILS Pune and GLC Mumbai are like peanuts but students from these two colleges too are brilliant. Trust me, higher fee does not make a college good.
2.Of course you can always participate in any reputed law school events.
3. You can get into it if you are good, no matter where you study from!
4. You can get if you are good at any place be it ILS, GLC, Symbi or any NLU. But think if you are good and get a package of 10 lakhs at any of these places then why spend so much for something you can get at lesser rates? ;)
Also, remember any NLU be it NLSIU,NALSAR,NUJS,GNLU,NLIU,NLUJ etc have the Chief Justice of India as there de facto Chancellor/Visitor to the University which is an official post and are directly under the judiciary. In that term both JGLS and Symbi are after all PRIVATE law schools but still Symbi has created a good reputation for itself in the industry. Every Big law firm has people from Symbi at good positions! (That increases your recruitment chance at good firms, the alumni does matter!)
Hope that answers your queries. Look, very simple, no doubt you can do well at JGLS but can better choose Symbi over it (If you are choosing between these two). If you get into any NLU be wise to join them! Also, prefer ILS, GLC over JGLS any day!
Hungry for fame indeed.
Quite ridiculous indeed. I may like to point out, that you haven’t really been to Jindal in order to make these remarks. When I state that Jindal is better than Symbi, I state my opinion after having visited both campuses and done considerable research before I got admitted to this college.
I’m not saying you need a beautiful campus t do well. I personally find my own campus rather impersonal.
So, please do think twice before making loose comments on inadequate information.
So my answers are:
1. Well, personally my money has not been wasted, especially since I have a fairly adequate merit scholarship which deducts about 40% of the fees that were asked. In order to maintain my scholarship, I have had to really put in a lot of hard work, so I’m not wasting anything being offered. This incentive ensures that I do not waste my money. Our faculty is BRILLIANT. And no, forget the qualifications, they’re all typically LLM’s from Ivy Leagues’s, nothing special. But my professors are really approachable and inspirational and have these absolutely offbeat styles of teaching (plus we have really crazy electives, and get exposure to great international faculty like Vik Khanna and Ratna Kapur- it’s really intimidating yet, wonderful). So, I would say a lot depends on you regarding making the most of your money.
2. We have. We have a won a few too. It’s all about initiative and enthusiasm.
3. We’re already interning there. So you will get placed there if you are good. I agree with the merit argument
4. I think our worst will get into Jindal Group (5 lakhs p.a.). Besides, Jindal is very encouraging of litigation (especially consti, we have special programmes for the same) and especially academia and research, perhaps those are some other avenues you want to explore.
Again, all my comments are based on my personal decision, keeping in mind that I was here two years ago where you are now, I did considerable research (visiting Symbi, ILS, NUJS) and spoke to several students, lawyers, judges and professors before making my decision. I think you should do the same instead of relying on forum posts here. (I know I’m casting doubts regarding my own statement, but, I honestly feel you should go that extra mile before taking any step)
I don’t think I need to counter any of the arguments. My previous post answers them. As far as professors are concerned I again reiterate you get amazing professors everywhere. Ram Jethmalani himself lectures students of Symbi. You have Prof.Martin Hunter who is the biggest authority on few subjects going to KIIT Law School, Bhubaneswar (but does that make the law school great?). I may not have visited JGLS but few of my closest friends have and they were of the opinion what I write here. Also, few of the people (at management level of JGLS who I happen to know appreciate JGLS but add the phrase :“Its all money game out there”.
I am not from Symbi which makes me support it (I am from NLU, but I felt answering the post as it is an important decision you are going to make).
I would surely recommend you to follow the last piece of the advice of the post above.
P.S: No matter where you go, if you are SMART you shall do well!
Good Luck!
Thanks folks :) what i can make out from this discussion is that both symbi and jindal are good and its my take whether ill take a risk and go for the new or play the safe card and take more reputed and long dwelling univ.
Alien drugs
I would recommend Jindal. My friends who study there are pretty well-versed with what they study. It’s not a pseudo environment. I’m really impressed with the way Jindal conducts assignments and drills knowledge and inspiration into the students . The folks I know from Jindal are interning in the top law firms in my city for the Summer. I recommend!
Hi,
i would just like to ask,
and this i do believe is a pretty valid point that if you guys studying at jindal could answer.
what is the student profile of jindal what i have come across the internet is if there i will find only rich brats,
but my main concern is will i, if i do go there encounter haryanvi and for the lack of a better term “jaats” with no or hardly any aspiration for teaching there with full or partial fee concession?
if i suppose if i were to paraphrase my question, it would go like how selective is jindal for students from haryana domicile and how much of the student population there will be of this type?
PS: i have gotten into symbi, and ranking of 470ish CLAT with a lsat 96.35 percentile also i think i will get through nluo so please advise…
Wtf why are you even thinking go with clat…
yea so like i said,
i did get through nlu orissa,
the point that i needed some clarification over is as stated above, please can you reply on that.
and as to my CLAT ranking, i might get into gandhinagar or raipur.
somehow it doesnt really come much in my radar.
plus being in delhi will have its own advantages.
basically what it all boils down to is do i go with jindal orrisa or give gandhinagar a shot, (councelling hasnt started yet :/)
hi i do not know much about your first question but, ill be very honest and tell you all that though i know, the thing you see is due to paper this time i didnt do well and yea well screwed my CLAT paper (im not complaining its a compt)..anyway i did get symbi im not goin there though because it frankly sucks going to PUNE and its too much of a risk as i dont have any rel. living close by+my parents dont allow…i have done much research on jindal and what i have gotten to know through interactions with jindalites is that theyre loving the inst and wont be surprised if jindal becomes a tough college to get in the next 5-6 years…the time by which we’ll pass out!…also talkin about gandhinagar i certainly feel its cheap and obviously has got the NLU tag but if i might equate it with the engg scenario…we have all heard of MNIT and various gov colleges but today are these colleges even after being gov. run arent better than the likes of VIT and BITS…im sure we all have heard about ISB when it opened up ppl were like why spend money why not go to IIM’s…well the sad truth is everyone cant go to IIM(Ahmadabad) and ISB is as well all know is MUCH better than all the other ones EVEN in international standing…so here is it out of the three my order is Currently:-
Gandhnagar
orissa
Jindal
AFTER 5-6 years
Orissa/JIndal…cant say
Gandhinagar
ps i know im gonna get alot of heat for this but this is based on the interactions with the students of all three colleges
pps many NLU guys hate jindal cause i dunno why they feel it threatens their standin which is quite funny cause going to NO college guarantees good placement it just gives you a gentle push to be in the top ten…and their hate can be sensed in this post
http://www.legallyindia.com/20100317587/Law-schools/jindal-starts-police-academy-india-with-cambridge?option=com\_content&Itemid=73&catid=7&id=587&lang=en&view=article&option=com\_content&Itemid=73&catid=7&id=587&lang=en&view=article&fontstyle=f-smaller
see the comments…i say what i feel i do not intend to hurt anyone and also ALL UNIV ARE GOOD…IF THE STUDENT IS GOOD!!!…peace…
Hi there Jindal Student.
What was your score in LSAT? And can you please elaborate a bit on what exactly the merit scholarships entail? I’m trying to decide on Jindal as I have got a call from them based on my LSAT scores.
You know what,
after actually analysing the jgls faculty im kindof sold.
please do know that my descision is not ill informed, i have conducted a lot of research on this topic.
And i know for sure jindals reputation would go only higher.
im visiting the jgls campus today hopefully most of my questions will get answered there :)
Thanks for all your help
Is there a way to reach them without having to visit the campus? :-\
uhmm phone, email,
take your pick.
wow that was kindof pointless
That’s what I meant, wise guy. Where can I get those? (contact no.s, e-mails etc.)
Facutly at Jindal are disappointed and curse their fates; they have so low grade, rich-without-brains students that they can’t even teach them what they want to teach. The IQ and intellectual capacity of students is low.
Wait for the placements to come up. Jindal will score very badly. They can’t even fill their seats with LSAT. They then take 6000+ rankers of CLAT. You can imagine how dumb the JGLS bunch is.
Hi Jindal aspirant,
I’ the Jindal student who wrote a post much earlier here.
Anyhow, I think you guys deserve insight about our college, especially from the students here. I didn’t get any of this when I was making a choice.
Someone asked me my LSAT score, I had a 94.3 odd percentile. And I made top ten based on which I got a scholarship from LSAC.
Now let me deal with the query regarding your options.
Of course it would be completely your call and you have to do your research about all colleges, weigh your options and then take your pick.
Now personally when I was getting in, I had no students I could talk to, plus Jindal was just a construction site. (I have seen the acad building being constructed in front of my eyes. There were no railings to the staircases on our first day. Scary. ).
Anyhow, I got into Symbi, a host of colleges for various other courses, Jindal and for CLAT I made GNLU on the second list or so. I was also on the waiting list for the NRI sponsorship in NUJS, which I had to forgo when I didn’t pay me fees for GNLU, later I learned that the list had cleared. Tragic.
So my thing is, if you can, definitely keep your GNLU spot handy, you never know when you can get upgraded.
And I think GNLU is a fine college as well. And if fees are problem, go for GNLU. If fees are not a problem, and you feel that academia, research etc. are important to you, choose Jindal. Jindal has great faculty, who can teach. And they’re young and approachable and has all basic amenities in place. Another factor that you may want to keep in mind is recruitment and opportunities. At Jindal, they will definitely offer you either an international internship or sem abroad (providing you can pay for it of course, that is what the Placement Cell Coordinator informed me), because its a well ‘global’ school and all that jazz. So you have the BEST visiting faculty (Peter Schuck. Ratna Kapur. period), and great regular faculty who can teach (save for the couple of oddballs who they recruited who arrived from a middle rung NLU, and a fairly unknown LLM, who could NOT teach, and I bet you anything in the world is the first to have made comments which the dude lower down has posted regarding quality of students). Seeing your CLAT rank I can say for sure that you will do well here. And if you do well, you get great opportunities- a couple of our students are interning at White and Case dude. In their second year of the 3 year programme! And seeing that Bhopal’s recruitment stats have not been brilliant. Jindal may be better off in that sense. But I would still say, do your own research.
Now, about, students. Yes out of 90 odd ( I don’t know exactly. :P) students in my batch, 25 are Haryanvis ( it’s a 25 through the quota). Though it is a very clever mix because not all are your typical jaats. There are people from Gurgaon who are not jaats but have the Haryana domicile, clever things pay only a lakh a year. But that is your compulsory quota under Haryana Education Board rules. It was far greater, but Jindal used his pull. Now, these guys have great contacts which you can make the most of, including all the professors and the VC. Getting an internship in places like NHRC etc. is child’s play, given the credentials of a couple of faculty.
So, the students are not all jaats. And they are not all bad. They are sweet people and are not necessarily the dumb or lazy ones. Others may be the dumb or lazy ones in the batch too. Some of these guys are very very hard working.
Merit scholarships-
Besides the LSAC scholarship for top ten students (so you see it was very important to do well in LSAT), I got the Shallu Jindal Scholarship for women ( 2 lakhs in all). You can apply for this as well as the Naveen Jindal scholarship (5 lakhs) and the Savitri J scholarship ( I don’t know the amount). Now, if your LSAT score is decent and your board marks, certificates, and credentials seem good, they will offer you what is called the ‘Studentship’. This is not something you can apply for, and wait for a month, you will get the letter. So if you think your school and LSAT credentials were decent, call the authorities and ask them about the studentship. Tell them that you are keen on joining the University but the fees are a setback, and you were wondering if you could avail of the studentship which you heard of from the current students. It’s for 5 lakhs ( one lakh a year) and is renewable every year as long as you pass everything and have a clean disciplinary record.
The last is the merit scholarship ( one lakh). It’s simple- you make top ten in your batch every year, you get a lakh off your fees.
And the students- well I will be honest, we have a mix of good, average and bad. And our good did manage a moot win at NLS Arb, so I don’t think we are hopeless, yet there are some in the batch who just sleep, play CS and chill in their rooms.
I hope this helps. Any more queries? I’m happy to help.
i went to your campus today,
and i really had most of my questions answered…
but i really have some very important questions which i think would be best answered by students only!
i would really want to pick your brain.
could you mail me your contact details at my mail and perhaps i could get in touch with you.
i know you will most probably be interning this time of the year but if you could just take 10-15 minutes out of your day it would be immensely appreciated!
my mail id is (yash.aggr[at-the-rate-of]gmail[dot]com)

i have done very badly in lsat 70 percentile, will i get in?
How come no one talks about ALS D here ? :P
#26: If you were in my batch, you would have made it, because awareness regarding LSAT was lower. But in your batch, considering other schools are taking in people through the LSAT, it may be tough to make Jindal. But I am not entirely sure, you may even make it. But I thought the letters have been sent out? You should have received them by now.
I took lsat and based on my score i got a call from JGLS.I want to know about the culture, the ambience of the college.because I belong to a higher middle class family and most of the students in JGlS come from affluent families, will it difficult for me to adjust with the culture there?
Hah. No no. Nothing like that. No problems of fitting in and all here ya.
go on d website.it gives a lot of info!
well this is my two cents..studying in king’s college london or in australia will cost alot less …even the entire fees in oxford would cost me some around 20 lakhs..so i would say..if i had the brains and money..i would have joined one of those colleges who are more “world class” and internatinally acclaimed than spending 35 lakhs in jgls…
With your attitude you had better not encounter any Haryanvi Jats anywhere.
Atleast JGLS students are smart enough to talk sensibly on online forums. And coming to the placement part, in particular to ur statement which a reasonable person would interpret as “people belonging to NLU’s are a smart bunch”. I scored a 127 in my CLAT exam and got NLU Bhopal but i chose JGLS instead. So is a doofus like you stating that the intellectual capability of a person(like me) will change if i go to an NLU instead of a GLobal law school. And also there has been a 100% placement in the 1st LLb batch that passed out of here. SO Mr Moron please check your facts before you post anything.
Sincerely,
A JGLS student
ps-which college do u belong to? Because the language you have used in ur post clearly shows a lot of jealousy about not going to JGLS
actually i would like to enquire about the present ranking of jgls and why jgls

I have been offered admission in JGLS. Given the steep fees and additional expenses (almost 40 lakhs for 5 years) for an international internship, I am not able to decide if I should join.
Currently, I am already in Christ Bangalore. Is it advisable to quit Christ and join JGLS?
Also, is the news of placement in the link below true?
http://barandbench.com/content/recruitment-tracker-jindal-global-law-school-sees-placement-all-22-students-sitting#comment-42516
Please do share your honest feedback as me and my parents are terribly worried and not able to decide.
Hey. i am a student at JGLS and I can tell you that the placement figures given in the link are true. Please keep in mind that these are the placement figures of the LLB Batch. The BALLB batch is yet to graduate, although they have around 13-15 very good placements done till now.
Thank you so much for your kind response.
Can you please share your email id?
Alternative, can you drop an email to my id (kumkarthik[at-the-rate-of]gmail[dot]com?)
What a crap especially the Jaat thing what do you think of yourself?Highly educated person who is still stuck in casteism wow superb education makes a person more sophisticated but in your case it has opposite results. If every 1 starts thinking like you then India would no longer be able to celebrate unity in diversity and if Jaat people top Jindal and they have the intelligence to outsmart others ,then they deserve scholarship.
Dear Seniors of Jindal Global Law School,
My name is Gorang Goyal, LSAT percentile- 90.11, CLAT Rank- 954

Jindal is undoubtedly one of the best despite the fact it has not been ranked as yet. It has something about it which I feel no other law school in India does. I feel all this hate towards Jindal is just because of jealousy! Common you guys, lets be honest here! Jindal is one of the only law schools you can look at and be like yes, this can be compared to good universities abroad.
Hi Gorang,
Welcome to Jiggles!
Don’t be nervous. The Jiggles environment is very welcoming. You can expect a healthy interaction with your seniors and peers. There is absolutely no hierarchy amongst students and if anybody tells you otherwise, I can assure you that they’re trolling.
While at Jindal I suggest that you make the most of your classes and faculty. You’re paying a lot for this education and you have the opportunity to be taught by young (and the not so young as well), dynamic professors with impressive academic backgrounds. Besides, the facilities on campus are great and I’m sure you will love the sports and extra- curricular opportunities here too. Your batch is the last one that I will ever have the opportunity to study alongside with in this University and therefore my impassioned plea to you guys is that you should strive to keep all negativity (from inside or outside) at bay, and focus on bettering yourselves- do your readings, participate, learn, imbibe, read books (not just your course material), play your sports/ debate/ act etc., volunteer, learn a language, improve your writing and drafting skills, expand your horizons and build strong, lasting relationships.
I look forward to interacting with you all when I arrive on campus in September. Good luck for the year and the rest of your duration at Jiggles!
Sahi kaha jaat behan !
@jindal final year- sorry i just saw this blog today(weeks after), thank you for your advice and i do realise that yes jindal is the best college which i could have chosen and yes i do not regret my choice, i love the teachers, library, seniors, everyone here is so nice and welcoming, i just love this college now. what is your name and when are you guys returning back??

my email is (13jgls-ggoyal[at-the-rate-of]jgu[dot]edu.in)
Not at all a good college. Though faculty is good but then on the other end there are some very bad professors. Student intake is lot. Forget about your placement. No campus life. You will like this place for a while but then there will come a time when you will regret your decision of coming to JGLS. Administration does whatever they want to. A lot of restrictions. Food sucks to the core. It is an air conditioned jail. Wait, now you cant even give this title because the admin has come with another arbitrary policy with regard to the usage of ACs…Ha!!
I wonder if some one can write about JGLS in such an irresponsible manner..Jindal faculty is the best at least in India..out of 75 professors, you might not like one or two..but most of them are awesome! just a week back amarchand, trilegal, khaitan, etc recruited students from 4th year..many final year guys I know are placed..food is certainly a problem but sodexo is better than any other law college hostel any day..the breakfast is really good most of the times…I think before finding negatives you should think about the positive!
JGLS - Its all about restrictions. I agree faculty is very good but there are other things also which one has to see. It is a residential university at the end of the day. Ask the final year law students how this place was when they joined and how this place is now. In fact, some of them are happy that their time at Jindal will end soon. The administration hardly pays heed to the issues students face. Diplomacy is played at its best. And about the placements of 4th year students, only 7 out of over 100 students got placed according to legally india figures. Think of the current intake which is over 300 students. What will happen to the placements then? How many will actually get placed?
The VC promises quality education and not placements. Good. But then if so is the case then why even 2 or 3 bad professors and that too after spending almost 7lakhs p.a.
I agree. This place is awesome, but at the end of the day it is the restrictions that are killing us. Not recommended for you to join if you can’t study!!
Its a big bubble which sooner or later will burst. Don’t get swayed. What you see in the beginning is all together different from what actually happens. Critically evaluate and then make a choice.
Hello,my friend wants to join jindal Delhi can I know the positive and negatives of the school? Please do reply asap
First of all, in the above comment (probably my senior) tried to give a insight of studying in JGLS, he dint tried to market anything like you are… moreover if my college is giving advertisements on tv, it is not our mistake, the only reason I feel so is that our college is not famous at all. When these top notch NLUs were started, they all used to give advertisements, advertisements is not just asking for fame, advertisements are for awareness also, we being in a remote area are not well known in the country. Before coming to this college even I use to think that this college might not be good at all but, now I know that my father’s money has not been wasted. This college has exceptionally well faculty which I can challenge that no other private law college such as symbi or amity have… So better think before you speak… less knowledge is very harmful
[quote=“Anonymous” post=3104]Thank You for the Caveat that u are not advertising but anyway I seriously doubt when u say JGLS is better than Symbi…infact when U say ppl have left GNLU [and u claim u left it, and if u did it for JGLS, i seriously doubt you had a better opinion] and NUJS is is hard to believe it.

I have got admission into Jindal n also have the option of IP university but maybe VIPPs or Ideal or chandraprabhu only.
Which is a better option? How is the Jindal placement so far??please advise urgently as need to give the fees. Also please tell what’s the total cost incurred at Jindal? Is it 50-60 lacs over 5 years due to overseas trip expenditure , pocket money n fess increases over next few years??
All advice most welcome.
Listen I have been here for 4 years and this is my last year now. I’ll tell you this, do not underestimate the power of dim wit people given power. The administration is the worst. I am in my final year of jail time now if I begave myself and keep my head down. I just might not be stripped or called a failure all the time by the wardens on the admins orders. These guys do not even pay the sodexo workers on our campus minimum wage. I promise you this university will burn down in time. No not metaphorically, I mean literally. Do not join my brothers and sisters, no one should have to waste such a huge chunk of their lives on such pointless bullshit. We are on the tipping point of anarchy here.
Do not join my brother, the problems are too many to explain by mere words. This college is the biggest scam to say the least and they keep increasing the fees as they have us by the balls. We are in our fifth year and they suddenly increased our fees and they know we cannot waste four years of education. It’s the dirtiest scam there is.
First of all, you posted two messages with different names just 5 minutes apart. What’s the point of having different names - trying to show that you are not single person?
Secondly, I am going to join the college this year and the fees and everything has been done with(well, almost). Had you posted this a month or two earlier, it would had made sense and could have helped prospective students but with you making this post a month after the admissions have been completed, I doubt you knew about the admissions in the college and/or that you actually are form Jindal. I’m sorry, but anonymous posts on the internet aren’t very reliable, are they? Also, countless other students have complained about admin too. And not just from Jindal - from almost all colleges. I think there should be a judgement about the college to choose on factors other than admin too. Am I wrong?
join jindal and you would know how fucked up the admin is

I did. And I have many friends in NLS, NALSAR, and HNLU. I don’t see much of a difference, other than the restrictions absolutely necessary.
no AC from 9-4…necessary restriction?
haha
one will get sick and tired of the administration issues, odd policies which come up every now and then. Hostel is one of the major concern. Poor maintenance due to lack of manpower and the students have to suffer. DIplomatic answers to every problem. A global campus with global issues, so global that even top people of administration either cant resolve or dnt want to resolve.
