Hi,

I am christian, my fiancee a hindu. we have applied to get married under special marriage act and awaiting the notice period. However we want to get married in hindu way before (2days earlier) the notice period is complete. Will this affect the special marriage legally?

Thanks in advance,

A Hindu Marriage is valid only between Hindu’s. So even if u get urself married according to hindu customs it wud nt make much of a difference. Only when it is registered under the Special Marriage will it have a sanctity and the marriage date wud be the date when ur marriage is registered under the Special Marriage Act
