Internship for foreign students in India

Juliette 29 Mar 2011, 11:29

Hello everyone,

I am a French Law student, and I am really interested by doing an internship in an Indian law firm.

My main concern is the language you work in in India: are legal documents/court decisions etc in English? Because I do not speak any Indian language, and learning in a couple of month would be difficult ^^

Moreover, many law firms do not have websites: do you know where I could find informations about their internship programmes?

Thank you!

Juliette

See, you do not have worry about the language. The medium of language in the Law Firms would be English.

The contacts of the law firms are provided in the link below. Contact Details are for internships only.

Good Luck!

Hi Julliete,

Good to see you are interest levels for Internships with Law firms in India.

Language is not at all the problem , as English is the medium of language in the law firms. Only question that came in my mind, which discipline of law are you willing tofwt associated with, for instance, Corporate, criminal or something related IP infringement

Dont get me wrong, Even I am planning to start my own entrepreneurship for facilitating Internships in Indian for International students especially for Eastern European and Asia Pacific Students

Most of the Indian Corporate and Law firms , require TOFEL or IELTS mandatory for the candidates to join their firms as an intern. This is only the certificate of English Proficiency

Anyway you can send your Resume across, will float it to my clients.
