Help for Power of Attorney

I want to have serious help!!!
My house is in Ghaziabad UP and my father purchased house in 1996 on general power of attorney. Last Year my father died without house getting registered.
How to do get register the house in favour of my mother. Sale deed was made between my mother and allottee. Now I do not want original allotee to come to know about it. Is there any way without informing allottee. How to get registered my house in favour of my mother?

A power of attorney is not a sale deed. it is just an authority empowering the attorney to sell the property in favour of anybody on behalf of executant. in your case as the POA ( i think not sale deed) is executed in favour of your mother, so your father’s death would not effect the POA. I think you should advise your mother to execute a registered sale deed of the property mentioned in the POA in favour of any one of your family members as early as possible to avoid any future discrepencies. You should contact any one of your local Lawyer for further guidance.
