UILS is introducing and organising its first UILS Client Counseling Competition – 2011 scheduled to be held on the 4th of February.

The UILS Client Counseling Competition would aim to be a platform for promoting greater knowledge and interest among law students in the ‘remedy sorting’ and counseling functions of law practice. It aims to encourage students to develop interviewing, planning, and analytical skills in the lawyer-client relationship in the law office and the corporate structure. The Competition will aim to provide an opportunity for a valuable educational and cultural interchange between students, law teachers, and legal practitioners. The Competition simulates a law office consultation in which two law students, acting as lawyers, are presented with a client matter.
