symbiosis noida should be the better choice.this is because sls noida’s infrastructure is far better than nusrl.sls noida have their own campus.nusrl ranchi dont have their own campus,they will be using bit mesra’s campus.symbiosis had already recruited full time professors for all the subjects.nusrl ranchi still dont have proper faculty,dere is only 1 professor in nusrl and the vice chanclr.sls noida being a private institution should be more dedicated(no offence),and nusrl will not guarntee u placements.nd sls is in a better location than nusrl ranchi…the hostel facilities and accomodation will be far better in sls than nusrl.

Dude m facing da same problem. But i guess ranchi wud be a better choice as sls is yet to recieve certain approvals frm MoHRDE. And to b on a safer side m choosing fr Rnchi rather goin fr uncertain symbiosis!

Would agree with Amicus on the point that they have a VC like Prof. Kaul NLU Jodhpur really flourished under him plus they have the backing of the Jharkhand High Court. BUT, Ombudsman is also right, and perhaps more correct that any of the suggestions. Ranchi is just coming up, it launch its first batch next year. Neither Symbiosis nor Ranchi as of now enjoy the luxury of being ‘well established’. It’s better to give the CLAT again and get through some other law school.

:cheer: just take a drop and try for a better law school. but still of the two i would suggest NUSRL. SLS is going to be hauled over the courts due to the contempt.

Aim for NALSAR/NLSIU/NUJS or maybe NLU Delhi.

i am from sls noida!!! and symbi is “the best” of these two bcoz of:

1) Infrastructure.

2) Excellent Faculty.

3) Location - Delhi/NCR.

4) Good Placement Guarantee.

5) BRAND NAME MATTERS!!!

hey.. i guess i am too late to give my suggestion but who ever visits this i guess it wud be helpful..

its great to take a drop and work very hard and take clat again.. but what if by mere luck u do not get selected.. so its better to join a college and among nusrl and symbi, no doubt nusrl is better..

symbiosis first of all is a pvt college which can obviously guarantee u placements by the bought companies and that too with no good package..

nusrl is affiliated to the state council, its created by the state legislature and its chancellor is of course the chief justice of the state..

all national institutes develop in 2-3 years be it orissa, lucknow, raipur or others ..

every national institute had its first batch and it did not take much time for them to become a dream place for the aspiring lawyers..

nls jharkhand too is one of them..

as of now it has got its own 100 acres of land and soon it’d be having its own beautiful building, other than that it is very good academically and being an nls they are putting more efforts on the students with their internships, with their curricular activities, with moots, projects , debates, etc. better than any other private colleges.

students of nift, symbi pune, nirma, ip university, upes.. have left and come to join nusrl..

so no doubt its better than sls..

i think in first year students have to do their intrenship in NGO’s and not in law firms…students from NUSRL are going to do their internship in many of the reputed NGO’s of India such as CRY, HRLN, Humann Rights Commission, Youth for Equality etc…and after all NLS tag matters a lot…

it has been an year for sls noida now and its growth rate has totally out raised the other law schools in its class.

It has provided much better internships in both the semister whether it were the top most law firms or any other courts. its has been performing briliantly with moots as de first year students are competing against third and fourth years and on top of that winning.

being in N.C.R its providing the setup not only for a carrier like lawyer but also to those who lke to sit for judicials and other exams.

There are so many diploma course available. It is completly sponsering its students in all competions which even class I nlu s are not doing hence its a good choice for people who could not make through top national law college. A totally acedamic based college with liberty to excel in co curiculars what else you want. And for God sake please don’t compare the recourse available in noida to Ranchi :P

there is no hard and fast rule that a first year student will have to do his internship only in an ngo :P

Then, u must be interning at Baker & McKenzie in a couple of years and will secure a PPO from White & Case by the end of 4th year.. What a progress dude!!

I guess if Symbi Noida progresses at this rate for a couple of years more, you guys will be beating NUS and Harvard at the Jessups in D.C. :D

I would any day choose SLS Noida over any other law college. I have heard from sources that it has got a great infrastructure and excellent teaching facility. It offers a lot of growth opportunities through curricular and extra curricular activities.

Check Nusrl Ranchi now. Then think about the choices
