CLAT 2011 Help Required!!!

Hi there… This is Aastha here… I cleared my class 12th this year and gave CLAT 2010 after barely studying for a month… I scored 128… So I’ve dropped a year to give it another shot… The thing is, I’m really puzzled. There’s so much to do and with no time in hand!!! I’m really worried about my GK… There are so many magazines and stuff to read… How do I choose? What should my schedule be? Tips for better retention? Please give me every helpful tip that you have in your mind… I’d really appreciate that…

Hello Aastha,

It happens to everyone. You’ve got no special feeling. Even I cracked CLAT only after dropping a year. Be concerned and you ll clear it.

Regarding your GK preparation… There is going to be no Static GK in CLAT 2011. Everything will be from the Current Affairs. Also NUJS is keen about selecting people who have good reasoning skills rather than good memory power. Hence, I suggest you to concentrate more on Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs, Maths which is going to be more or less like 2008’s CLAT Maths and For English… RC Passages and Grammar.. (no vocab this time). Practice a lot… thats the only way to crack CLAT this time. Hope, you ll do well.

i would like to know how you know that there wont be any static gk questions in clat 2011…are you sure about it…can u give me the source of your statement pls…

If you dont want to trust my words, go ahead and do static GK.
