Well, I wanted to know how much would it help for CLAT 2011 in solving the past years’ papers of NLS, NALSAR & NUJS. Should I also solve the NLU-D and SET papers???

When I gave CLAT 2010, previous papers were the ones which helped me more than anything. Firstly, you ll get an idea of how the paper is structured. Secondly, you will get habituated to solving these kind of papers and while giving CLAT you will never ever face a kind of question which has not been asked earlier. (the questions may not be the same, but the kind of questions are always the same). Thirdly, time yourself when you do those papers and you ll increase the pace of solving these kind of papers which will help you a lot in CLAT.
In order to get the previous year question paper, you will have to make a demand draft of Rs 100/- drawn in favor of : “The Convenor (CLAT – 2010), NLIU, Bhopal” and which is payable at Bhopal. Please send the Demand Draft along with you complete communication details to the address below:

2. For NLSIU, Bangalore papers:
The past 20 years’ question papers (1988 – 2007) including the 2007 paper are available for the price of Rs.760/-.. The payment can be made by Demand Draft in favour of “NLSIU” payable at Bangalore. Prices are inclusive of delivery charges. The draft can be sent to the address given below.

You can also personally go to NLSIU and buy the past years’ papers, in which case you need to pay Rs.700 for the entire volume of 20 years’ papers or Rs.50 for the 2007 paper.
3. For NALSAR, Hyderabad papers:
The past 13 years’ question papers including the 2007 paper are available for Rs. 650/- by post. The payment can be made by DD in favour of “Registrar, NALSAR University of Law” payable at Hyderabad to the address given below.

4. For NUJS papers:

some websites are organising online free mock tests u may go for that…
Since NUJS is setting the paper this year, I strongly suggest u get ur hands on the previous paper set by NUJS for CLAT.( m not really sure if they have) or papers set by NUJS for their examinations held prior.

Past year NUJS papers won’t help that much. They were based on an different pattern.

A good year book: manorama, pearson etc.

Why do we need a year book ? The CLAT authority has made it clear that they are not going to fill the paper with static GK this year.
