British Citizen wants to study LLB (3 years - already got BSc), is it possible?

Hi Guys
I hope someone can help me here. I am going to graduate with a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham. My current average is 68, but I hope to push it up to 70% when I graduate in June 2011.
I also have 3 A’s in A levels - equivalent to 12th in India - in Maths, Biology and Chemistry: my average is 87%. I’ve done 4 internships, 3 of them at finance firms: PWC/Grant Thornton and Bank Mandiri (London Office).
Would it be possible to gain admissions into a top law school in India with my profile? If I can get into a top school, what are the career prospects in India for a foreign student with a PIO card?

Could you please tell what your age is?
Now since you have completed your undergraduate studies, your best bet would be to go for the 3 year course.
The best college would then be DU faculty of law. It is as good as the top NLUs (NLS, NUJS, NALSAR etc). JGLS should be worth a try? (please note the question mark). :D
Unfortunately, you can’t take CLAT (common law admission test) which is the Indian LSAT/LNAT for admission into the NLUs (am guessing that you are over 20).
Also, it won’t make sense doing a 5 year long course. For some 5 years get too long to be stuck at one place. Thats one major argument doing the rounds for the revival of the 3 year programs.

I will be 22 when I graduate so that will disqualify me from all the top law schools for their LLB course.
If I did a GDL and gain an LLB from BPP Law school which will take a year, would I qualify for the LLM programmes at the best schools in India, or they wouldn’t hold it in high regard as the LLB won’t be from a traditional school like Cambridge etc?
Career prospects are definitely a major concern for me as I would be making a big decision by moving to India and starting all over. I hope someone can help me on that front.

No! It won’t
As I said you can go for the three year course. Delhi University (DU) has the best three year law course. And it is a top law school.
I hope you know the distinction between the 5 year integrated LLB course generally leading to the BA/B/Sc.LLB (Hons) degree which is done after completing class 12 and the 3 year course which is done after completing the undergraduate course (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) etc.

Sorry I meant it would disqualify me from appearing for the integrated courses at the top 3 college, which to my knowledge by reading posts on this forum are bangalore/nalsar and calcutta. Ill wait and see what people have to say about DU’s career prospects.
