I am doing BA LLB (H), Can anyone suggest a list of courses which could be done along with this course like company secretary…etc. Does it make any sense in doing such courses?

actually u can’t

BCI guidelines clearly stipulate that one can’t pursue any professional course(CA/CS/CWA) along with law courses..

Where are you getting that from? I don’t think you are correct. Can you please guide us to the BCI guidelines that you are referring to?

Hey,

I would like to clarify that I am an Associate member of ICSI and have graduated in law in this year itself. Now in ICSI you have two licenses one in membership, the other is license to practice. I have checked with the officials in ICSI and I can in addition to my membership at ICSI apply to Bar council of India for enrollment as an Advocate provided I don’t possess the license to practice from ICSI.

Let me know if I am getting anything wrong here. :)

@ everybody above me

my source is a document named Bar Council Of India Education Rules 2008,particularly section IV of the aforementioned document…

alternatively here is the link for the same(u’ll have to download part IV,which is in pdf format)…

[url=http://www.barcouncilofindia.org/about/legal-education/education-rules-2008/\]\[/url\]

from all i know these rules have been either enforced from 2009 or from this very year,so if one has been pursuing both courses simultaneously before 2009,he might be eligible

I AM IN NO WAY RELATED TO BCI,PLEASE CHECK WITH THEM IN CASE OF ANY CONFUSION OR DOUBTS.
