My Father bought a land with house in 1999 in Chennai. The document mention it as Grama Natham. So my father bought it in my mother name without any Patta. After many years we tried for Patta as it is easy to get for Natham land. But we didn’t get, as they rejected by saying that you will be given Patta if government announces free Patta and you cannot apply for individual Patta. Now with the help of lawyer, again we applied Patta online. VAO called us verified the document and said the land with the mentioned survey number is with another person name and also the square feet measures are different in village office document. So he mentioned Patta cannot be given. If we asks for the steps to follow they denied and mentioned the same that it can be given as free Patta only. My questions are
- Our land‘s north side Land is a Patta one but the east and west land are categorised as ‘Meikal Poramboke’. Only our land categorised as ‘Grama Natham’. Is this possible.?
2.
- in our document it is mentioned the ex land owner applied for B- notice for the land to be categorised as ‘ Natham’ . Can someone explain about B-notice?
- The sale deed happened in registration office. How they allow for illegal transaction without verifying.
- Till 2014, we are able to download ‘EC’ from Tamil Nadu registration website in my mother’s name, but currently unable to download it and not sure why it is not reflecting in the document in village panchayat office.
kindly explain how we can proceed to get Patta?
Thanks in advance.
