ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Association for PARIVARTAN of nation is a youth-led, non profit organization which is working to create a just society. We have always believed in the idea of change, to free the society from the shackles of discrimination of any and every form. We aim at triggering and resolving the issues of that part of society that remains unheard or unanswered due to their oppressed conditions. Started in the form of activism in Jharkhand, we have now reached various states with the sole purpose of being the voice of people. Officially registered in the year 2018-19, we have been able to move upwards and onwards with the help of a great team and volunteers.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Topic:- Food Mountains and Lockdown Hunger: Policy Emergency in India
“A Sacrifice is a selfless act which deserves to be remembered. When a fight for right begins, it is half won and the journey deserves to be commemorated with the same determination that It began with. ”
“Tribal Echoes” is one such event that pledges to honour every sacrifice made by the folk hero: Birsa Munda.Birsa Munda was an indian tribal freedom fighter. He spearheaded a tribal religious Millenarian movement that arose in the Bengal Presidency in the late 19th century, during the British Raj, thereby making him an important figure in Indian history. He sacrificed his entire life and then died fighting for the rights of tribal communities. The fight is yet to be fought for which we require not to forget the ideals and sacrifices of Birsa Munda.
