m interning at IBM (Hyderabad)… i dunno what would be the “placement value” of this internship..will dis gonna b of some help???

@ priya , i think interning in legal dept. of enterprises has equal value to law firms

@ Priya : depends upon how active the inhouse legal dept is or do they outsource their legal work to some firm. If they have a relatively active legal cell in IBM.. then ur internship gives u a fair chance at recruitment advantage with them

I have two options - either NCW, Delhi or District Court. I am a second year student at NLUD.

@ Vikramaditya. DIstt. Courts wud be a better option. My frnd had internred at NCW, its gud for CV but distt court gives a true experience of fxning of courts. I sometimes visit patiala distt court n its kinda helpful.

Yes. In an NGO.

But since nowadays you can do three internships in an year, you can also intern under a trial court lawyer.

Life at NUJS is both strenuous and rocking.

You’ll be in the moot team after three rounds of elimination.

A real tough process, mind you.

First thing you should learn in a law school is called the The Indian Jugaad Act, of time immemorial… try to make friendship with your Senior, he/she may help you out with impt notes, books, internship, moot teams and what not, butter your teachers… no doubt how impartial one may look, everybody loves to be buttered… if your law school doesn’t have a proper placement cell, then write to the NGO’s yourself…

I interned at Hitachi Home and Life Solutions (India) Ltd. Its a good place to work. They teach you contracts and agreements properly and are very supportive too. Overall rating 9/10.
