CLPR invites students to submit an essay on the topic:

“Taking Transgender Rights Seriously: Making Authentic Lives Possible”

Eligibility:

This is open to any student enrolled in a full time educational programme.

Submission Guidelines:

Email submissions in ‘.pdf’ or ‘.doc’ formats to (transformessay2016[at-the-rate-of]clpr[dot]org.in

) The essay may adopt any consistent citation style. The word limit for the essay is 3000 words inclusive of footnotes or endnotes.

Co-authorship is permitted.

Submission Deadline:

11:59 pm, 11th December, 2016

Prize Money:

1st position: Rs. 7,500

2nd position: Rs. 5,000

3rd position: Rs. 2,500

Winners:

The winning essays will be announced and disseminated at the Conference on 14-15 December 2016 in Bangalore.

The winners will also be informed by email.
