Call for Editors: International Review of Contemporary Legal Issues: Apply by 14 December 2016
International Review of Contemporary Legal Issues is a bi – annual, online and open-access law journal. The aim of the journal is to provide a platform to students, academicians and practitioners for publication of original scholarly papers on contemporary legal issues that have national, regional and international importance. The special focus of the journal is publication of responses to scholarly papers. The papers can be in the forms of articles, essays, case notes, legislative/policy/book reviews, responses and film reviews. The journal encourages comparative and empirical analysis of the issues.
The International Review of Contemporary Legal Issues was assigned International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2456 – 3730 on 26 October 2016. The assignment was made via email confirmation letter (reference number: NSL/ISSN/INF/2016/1022).
After publication of the Inaugural Issue on 30 June 2016, the journal currently, requires Editors for the Second Issue. The Call for Papers for the Second Issue will be in the month of December 2016 and the Second Issue will be released in May 2017.
Eligibility
Except for 1st yr. /2nd yr. B.A., LL.B students and 1st yr. LL.B students rest can apply.
The journal requires the following:
Editors and Senior Editors
The journal requires students pursuing graduation as Editors and students pursuing Masters or those who have completed Post-Graduation as Senior Editors. Both Editors and Senior Editors will be required to edit 30 – 40 pages per month.
Editor – in – Chief
The journal requires Editor-in-Chief for guiding its further development. Probably, someone who has prior editing experience will be suitable for the position.
Please note: None of the positions in the journal are paid. However, there shall be award of 5000 Rupees for the Best Editor.
