Come help us revive the MPL into the seventh edition
Come help us revive the MPL into the seventh edition

After a one-year hiatus and due to rather major popular demand, we are intending resurrect the Mooting Premier League (MPL) this year.

However, we need your help: we are looking for between one and two very special students who are mad about mooting with an interest in journalism who can report on the MPL for tens of thousands of India’s mooting and non-mooting law students.

It’s been a great gig in previous years, in part for some of these reasons:

  • it’s great fun and gets you interacting with hundreds of law students across law schools,
  • if you’ve ever been interested in writing and/or journalism, it’s a great opportunity, and is probably the closest thing to sports journalism you can get into while in college,
  • it also looks great on the CV generally: many of our former MPL correspondents are now working at top law firms and organisations,

The position is part-time and remunerated attractively. Very roughly, you should expect to be spend between two to eight hours a week on the MPL, depending on how heavy the mooting schedule is for a week.

What you require?

  • A passion for mooting.
  • Flawless writing and communication skills.
  • Fantastic organisational abilities, attention to detail and professionalism.
  • A winning personality.

You should also probably be at a sufficiently advanced stage of your studies where you have a good idea how mooting works, and you should have some free time and flexibility in your schedule of studies and internships to allow you to devote enough time to the MPL

Please send a brief CV but, more importantly, a typo free and engaging cover letter to . Please tell us why you think you’d make a great MPL correspondent and any ideas or thoughts you have.
