Rahul Saha, an NUJS Kolkata 2008 graduate, has been promoted to partner at US-international law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher in London.
The Kerala Government’s senior counsel, Kapil Sibal, who resumed his arguments at 10.30 a.m. yesterday (August 25) in Court No.11 of the Supreme Court, completed his arguments at 2.30 p.m. As the justices Vikramajit Sen and Shiva Kirti Singh queried him about the basis of classification of four star and five star hotels for the purpose of grant of licences to the latter, Sibal asked what is so irrational about classification.

UK educated, he began his career in London and Singapore at Ashurst and White & Case and moved to India in 2007 to join Amarchand Mangaldas, moving to legal process outsourcer (LPO) CPA Global in 2010 in the outsourced legal team for Rio Tinto as lead lawyer.
In a press release Indus co-founder Gaurav Dani said that Chakrabarti would add to the firm’s capacity in international debt transactions, infrastructure and project finance.
Chakrabarti commented in the press release: “I’ve known the team at IndusLaw for some time now. It’s great to be joining a vibrant and ambitiouspractice and grow existing synergies.”
