A third woman has made a public statement accusing RK Pachauri of having sexually harassed her while she was working at Teri, aged 19, in 2008, saying that the current allegations against him are “right in line with his character, and not a case of his computer being hacked”, as Pachauri claimed in an interview published by The Guardian newspaper.

The Supreme Court today transferred to the Delhi high court JNU Students' Union president Kanhaiya Kumar's petition seeking bail and security.
An apex court bench of Justice J Chelameswar and Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, while transferring Kanhaiya's petition, asked the high court to hear it expeditiously.
The court also recorded the statement of Solicitor General Ranjit Kumar that the lawyers representing Kanhaiya Kumar before the high court and media personnel be provided with full security.
The court directed its secretary general to forthwith transfer Kanhaiya's writ petition and related papers to the high court.
Kanhaiya Kumar's lawyers are likely to mention it for an early hearing before the high court on Friday afternoon.

JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, arrested for sedition, on Thursday moved the Supreme Court for bail as students rallied in support across the country and the opposition took the row to President Pranab Mukherjee.
Advocate Vrinda Grover has released a statement on behalf of a second alleged target of sexual harassment by former Teri boss RK Pachauri, noting that at least two women other than the original complainant had come forward to make statements against Pachauri, reported a number of papers.
“Hope died, man died, justice lived,” commented Rishabh Sancheti, one of Yakub Memon's advocates, about the early-morning, eleventh hour Supreme Court hearing that ultimately failed to save his client from the noose. “Have you (heard) it happen in any other country?”
The Delhi high court adjourned its hearing in the Swatanter Kumar defamation case to 28 August, after the Supreme Court transfer petition was filed with the court in sealed cover.
