9 April 19:54: NUJS Kolkata has won the 27th Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, which is one of the largest and most prestigious mooting competitions in the world.

Four Indian teams have made it into the last 64 out of 342 teams at the Willem C Vis Moot in Vienna, according to an update on its Facebook page.

NLU Jodhpur has extended its lead in the Mooting Premier League (MPL) 6 sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills after winning 30 points at the Vis Vienna moot that saw strong Indian performances.

While Nalsar got close but India did not manage to repeat last year's NLSIU Jessup win, the national law school from Bangalore did get laurels at one of the other massively prestigious international moots: NLS was the runner-up team at the Vis Vienna Arbitration Moot over the weekend, also picking up two honourable mentions for speakers.
