Khaitan & Co adding VoxLaw managing partner Udayan Choksi as a partner in indirect tax.

Vivek Daswaney, who had joined IndusLaw as a Mumbai partner in February 2017 from (pre-Link Legal merger) DH Law Associates, has gone independent to return to boutique roots.

The firm started in 2012 by former ELP associate partners Ritesh Kanodia and Udayan Choksi with former Bharucha & Partners SA Amey Nargolkar has merged with former KPMG deputy DEO Dinesh Kanabar’s two-month old start-up.

V Law Partners has merged with DH Law Associates to form a 10 partner, 50 lawyer firm.

Trilegal advised US-based multimedia company Tribune’s Singapore arm in its Rs 161 crore ($27m) acquisition of What’s On India Media which was advised by V Law.
