NLUJAA Guwahati vice-chancellor (VC) Prof JS Patil has gone on leave pending the resolution of the sexual harassment allegations against him in an FIR filed by his neighbours.

NLUJAA Guwahati vice-chancellor (VC) Prof JS Patil has vociferously denied and said he filed a counter-FIR over a sexual harassment FIR that had been reportedly been filed against him by neighbours, as first reported by local print (in Assamese) and TV news (see image above, in Assamese).

The former vice chancellor of Karnataka State Law University, Dr JS Patil, has been appointed as NLU Assam Guwahati’s s new vice chancellor (VC).
