A third woman has made a public statement accusing RK Pachauri of having sexually harassed her while she was working at Teri, aged 19, in 2008, saying that the current allegations against him are “right in line with his character, and not a case of his computer being hacked”, as Pachauri claimed in an interview published by The Guardian newspaper.
Advocate Vrinda Grover has released a statement on behalf of a second alleged target of sexual harassment by former Teri boss RK Pachauri, noting that at least two women other than the original complainant had come forward to make statements against Pachauri, reported a number of papers.
A Delhi court on Friday allowed environmentalist R.K. Pachauri, accused in a sexual harassment case, to visit all but two offices of TERI, with the complainant working in one of the offices.
Sexual harassment appears to be everywhere these days, yet it was always so. Complaints, on the other hand, seemed to be rarer only a few years ago.
