LSAT—India, the Law School Admission Test for Indian Law schools is designed by LSAC and administered by Pearson VUE in India. The Pencil and Paper based test will be conducted on 30th April 2011 at 16 locations in the country.
The test aims to evaluate candidates on their Law aptitude. LSAT—India comprises four sections – Two of the sections contain logical reasoning questions; one section contains analytical reasoning questions; and one section contains reading comprehension questions. There is no cramming required for this test, hence it provides a neutral platform to all candidates.
Some of the leading institutes like IIT Kharagpur, UPES Dehradun, Jindal Global Law School – Sonipat, KLE Society’s Law College Bangalore, JSS Mysore etc adopted LSAT—India for admissions to their 2011 session.
Candidates who wish to prepare for this test can download the free sample test from LSAT—India website (www.pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia). LSAC has also released official prep test and handbook to cater to preparation/ practice needs of students. The preparation material details are also available on the site.
So, LSAT—India is a test where you are evaluated not on your knowledge but, on your reasoning and comprehension skills. So what are you waiting for?
