Live online tutoring start-up Vedantu has raised $24 million from a group of investors including global venture capital firm GGV Capital as part of their Series C extension round.

Bharucha & Partners advised Vedantu Innovations Private Limited and its promoters led by a team of partner Alka Bharucha, managing associate Swathi Girimaji, senior associate Neekesh Shetty, associate Aishwarya Gupta.
The firm had also acted for Vedantu on its December $42m fundraising round, with Link Legal and L&L Partners.
Cooley Singapore’s partner Ferish Patel, with a team also including other lawyers Patrick Loofbourrow, Monica Xu, Ivy Wang, James Jackson and Grace Wang acted for GGV Capital.
Nishith Desai Associates Bangalore lawyers Parag Srivastava and Prithvi Vardhan also acted on the deal GGV Capital.
