Sahai & Co, Rajaram on agri-tech startup VeGrow’s $2.5m seed round

VeGrow has raised $2.5 million in seed funding led by Matrix Partners and Ankur Capital, as the aggregator of small farms looks to bring economies of scale to Indian farmers using technology. Better Capital, Titan Capital, Sanjiv Rangrass, CEO of ITC’s agri business, Cloudnine founder Rohit MA, Livspace founder Ramakant Sharma, and Park+ founder Amit Lakhotia, also participated in the funding round.

Sahai & Co advised Chifu Agritech Private Limited (VeGrow) led by a team of partner Savyasachi K Sahai.

Rajaram Legal acted for Matrix Partners in the deal led by partner Prasad S and associate Vibhu Khanna.

Ankur Capital was advised by its in house legal team.
