L&L, Indus act on $3.9m Series C1 of BharatPe

Digital payments firm BharatPe, which services offline retailers and businesses, has raised $75 million (approximately Rs 538.89 crore at current exchange rates) in its Series C funding led by Coatue Management and Ribbit Capital.

The round was led by Coatue Management and Ribbit Capital, with Grace Software Holdings, Steadview and Amplo Opportunities also participating in the round.

L&L Partners advised existing investor Steadview Capital Mauritius Limited led by a team of partner Vaibhav Kakkar, managing associate Avisha Gupta, and associates Ritvika Thakur and Sanchita Kumari.

Update 28 April 2020: IndusLaw advised Ribbit Cayman IN Holdings V Ltd led by a team including senior partner Srinivas Katta, partner Winnie Shekhar and associates Stuti Agarwal, Prerna Bharati, Nishihi Shah and Nabarun Chandra Ray.

Back in August 2019, in its Series C round, Antares Legal had advised BharatPe, alongside IndusLaw, Khaitan & Co and L&L for investors.
