Khaitan acts on $52m Quadria Cap buyout of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology from Samara

Quadria Capital has invested (via Nile II Investments Holding Pte Ltd) in Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Private Limited, by way of subscription to primary securities and purchase of shares from Samara Capital, aggregating to approximately $52m, according to Khaitan & Co.

Khaitan & Co advised Quadria Capital Investment Advisors Pvt Ltd led by a team of partner Mayank Singh, principal associate Nidhi Killawala and associate Bhavna Pattanaik with assistance from senior associate Shaima Khan, associate Akarshita Dhawan and associate Kairavi Shah on due diligence and other aspects.

Quadria had first bought a stake in AIG in 2015.
