Khaitan acts for Twitter on rare foray: $100m Series D in Link Legal’s ShareChat

Regional language social networking platform ShareChat has completed a $100 million (about Rs 718 crore) equity financing round led by microblogging site Twitter, with participation from private equity firm TrustBridge Partners, the Bengaluru-headquartered company said... Twitter’s investment in ShareChat, which has been fighting out China’s Bytedance in its home market, is among the first such bets it has taken on an international company.
