Mswipe Technologies Private Limited, a mobile point of sale (POS) service provider, has raised $10 million with a follow-up funding round led by the B Capital Group, the investment firm from Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin backed by BCG, along with existing investor DSG Consumer Partners, aggregating to $41 million to complete the Series D fundraising round, as reported by Mint and YourStory. This marks B Capital’s first direct investment into an Indian company. Mswipe had earlier raised funds from Ratan Tata’s UC-RnT Fund and Matrix Partners, as part of the Series D round of investment.
