Khaitan’s Ola stays hungry: $35m Series J from Mirae includes JSA

Mirae Asset has invested around $35 million into ANI Technologies Private Limited, which operates ride-sharing and taxi services company Ola in its ongoing Series J round, that had also seen participation from Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, according to reports.

J Sagar Associates (JSA) advised Mirae Asset-Naver Asia Growth Investment Pte Ltd and Mirae Asset Capital Markets (India) Private Limited led by a team of partner Manav Raheja and associate Gaurav Matta. The competition law aspects were advised by partners Amitabh Kumar and Vaibhav Choukse, principal associate Unnati Agrawal and associate Akansha Mehta.

Update 22 May 2019: Khaitan & Co advised long-standing ANI Technologies Private Limited, which owns Ola, led by a team of partner Sharad Moudgal, senior associate Kamlesh Rao and associate Kamna Kumar.
