Jerome Merchant, Lexstart on Aviom India’s $2.3m Series A from Cambodia-based Insitor Impact Asia Fund

Delhi-based pan India financing company, Aviom India Housing Finance has raised Rs 15 crore ($2.3m) equity funding from Cambodia-based investor Insitor Impact Asia Fund in a Series A round of funding, as reported by VC Circle and Business Standard.

Jerome Merchant + Partners advised Aviom India Housing Finance on the funding and was led by partner Sameer Sibal along with associates Ravishankar M and Rishabh Gupta.

LexStart represented Insitor with a team led by CEO Ashutosh Sharma and associate Aasim Syed.

Founded in 2016, Aviom India provides loans to low-income individuals and families, and has plans to use the funds raised in this round to increase its branches, expand its operations in tier-II and tier-III towns and enhance the types of credit that it currently provides.
