SAIF Partners has made its first investment in the drone technology space, investing $2 million in SenseHawk, a cloud-based enterprise platform leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) analytics on data collected from drones and other such autonomous systems. The US-headquartered company expects its India business to grow in the light of the recent policy clearing the skies for commercial operation of drones.
