Indus, Joyce act on $18.5m Series A seed round into Uni payments start-up

The transaction involved Series A fund-raise by the Uniorbit Technologies Private Limited (Uni), which was led by Lightspeed and Accel and co-participated by Acorn Heavy Industries Worldwide LLC. This is one of the largest seed financing rounds in India in recent times, according to Tech Crunch.

IndusLaw advised Lightspeed India Partners II LLC and Accel India VI (Mauritius) Ltd led by a team of partner Manish Gupta and senior associate Ashish Ahluwalia and associate Vivek Tiwari.

Joyce Law acted for Uniorbit Technologies Pvt Ltd and their team included partner Deepak Joyce and associate Rohit Abraham.
