Indus helps 2015-founded Xpressbees on $110m investment with NDA, SAM, CAM

Three private equity funds Investcorp, Norwest Venture Partners and Gaja Capital together invested about Rs 800 crore ($110 million) to acquire about 31% stake in Xpressbees, the E-commerce focused end-to-end supply chain solutions provider.

IndusLaw advised Busybees Logistics Solutions Private Limited , operating as Xpressbees, led by a team of senior partner Suneeth Katarki and partner Winnie Shekhar, with associates Rashi Bharadwaj, Pavani Nath and Mahima Selvakumar.

Nishith Desai Associates advised Special Situation Investment A Pte Ltd led by a team including leader Simone Reis, leader Abhinav Harlalka and member and lawyer Devanshi Jaiswal.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co represented Norwest Venture Partners X - Mauritius.

Am seeing Indus' name on a bunch of deals these days. Looks like Indus is trying to up its game to join the big league. Kudos.

Indus is still a startup firm..advising startups, having grown with growing startups in the last 10 years. Otherwise, apart from Manan's work, and one or two freak deals, you don't hear Indus's name in the big boys club.

Gaja goes to a lot of firms..in the past I have seen Gaja use K Law also for a few deals when Sankar was a partner. Not sure if they still brief K Law.
