SAM, Trilegal on $45m Black River Food PE in Future Consumer Enterprise

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised Future Consumer Enterprise on Black River Food’s $45m investment in it. Black River Food was advised by Trilegal.

SAM partners Kalpataru Tripathy and Abhishek Guha, senior associate Aditya Mehra and associates Roma A Das and Aditi Tralshawala acted for Future Consumer Enterprise. Competition partners Naval Chopra and Manika Brar and senior associates Rohan Arora, Yaman Verma and Vardhan Tulsian, and intellectual property principal associate Charu Mehta and associate Apoorva Murali also acted on the deal.

Trilegal partners Nishant Parikh and Aniruddha Sen, counsel Rahul Singh and associates Harsh Jain, Gautam Chawla and Sibani Saxena acted for Black River Food.

Future entered into an investment agreement with Black River Foods in January, according to DNA India, but the deal was closed this Tuesday, according to SAM’s press release.

The name is Black River Asset Management, not Black River Food. The food fund is one of several that BRAM manages. Should correct the references.

If you want to be that specific of references maybe you should have known that BlackRiver has had a management buyout and are now Proterra investors...just FYI
